things I've found project: botanicals, seeds, and leaves
Things I’ve Found is an ongoing project I’m working on in my studio and an expansion of the Rockhound project I was working on for the past few years. I am constantly collecting and documenting things I’ve found in nature and recreating them in watercolor. Each year I create a calendar of my yearly collection, available to purchase.
ingredients & foods
I love illustrating food ingredients and I was lucky enough to create a suite of illustrations for Dobbs Ferry Restaurant in San Francisco.
patterns
A collection of patterns that I print on wrapping paper available exclusively in my shop.
the rockhound project
I collect rocks around California and lovingly recreate them in watercolor.
This is an ongoing personal project that I am documenting on my Instagram.
The first and most important part of my watercolor practice is making a focused color palette. I use this kind of color study to match rocks but also to capture the palette of a specific place or moment.
